Meet Our Performers

  • Byung

    Byung is a sophomore at Stuyvesant High School in New York City. He has been playing classical guitar for four years. Byung was one of the semi-finalists at the 2021 Altamira International Guitar Competition and a prize winner at the 2021 Philadelphia National Classical Guitar Competition. Byung’s repertoire includes solo pieces by J.S. Bach, Turina, Villa-Lobos, Sainz de la Maza, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Christmas songs.

  • Ryan

    Ryan is a sophomore at Stuyvesant High School in New York City. He has been playing piano for 11 years and cello for nine years. Ryan was a Gold Medalist at the 2021 American Association for the Gifted and Talented International Young Musicians Competition. He has performed in prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall three times, Lincoln Center, and Flushing Town Hall. He has also been an orchestra cellist in the New York International Youth Philharmonic for seven years.

  • Tae

    Tae attends Bell Academy in Bayside, New York. Tae has been playing classical guitar for four years. Tae was a prize winner at the 2020 Guitarlab International Guitar Competition, the 2021 Altamira International Guitar Competition, and the 2022 Guitar Foundation of America International Youth Competition. Outside academics and music, Tae is a long-time, dedicated fan of TwoSet Violin.
